A semi-truck driver has been charged with DUI after a crash on Saturday morning on I-75 in Alachua County. The crash occurred at around 8:40 a.m. near Mile Marker 403. According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, the driver of the semi, a 42-year-old man from Valdosta, Georgia, veered off the road, crashed through the guardrail, and overturned. The trailer filled with frozen food products landed in the northbound lanes, where it was hit by a box truck driven by a 24-year-old man. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the semi-truck driver was arrested for DUI and taken to Alachua County Jail.
