Brooklyn Park Two-Vehicle Accident on April 29th; Michael Dean Porter Injured in Crash
BROOKLYN PARK, MN (April 29, 2024) - Michael Dean Porter was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Monday in Brooklyn Park.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Porter was a passenger in a Toyota Corolla driven by a 38-year-old woman that collided with a Lincoln Navigator around 10:26 p.m. at the intersection of 85th Avenue North and Highway 252. At the time, the traffic lights were not working due to a power outage, and both vehicles entered the intersection, with the Lincoln t-boning the Toyota on the driver's side and pushing it into a holding pond.
Porter, 64, was transported to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The MSP stated that alcohol was involved in the accident.
Pending the investigation's results, Michael Dean Porter may have grounds to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, noted that the stress and disruption to all aspects of life following a serious injury can be overwhelming.
